I'm with you. The passivity and submissiveness of plebeians, brought about by elitist lords of industry, maintained by an increasingly sedentary lifestyle that revolves primarily around consumerism, has always broken my heart. Routinely I hope for a change to manifest within our society, but we're conditioned from birth to believe in an outdated way of life designed long ago by single-minded businessmen. To me, economy, politics, taxes, government, and words of a similar distasteful nature, are equivalent to one word: Control. People are so afraid of losing their possessions, their reputation, their bank accounts, and what little "freedom" they do have, that no one will stand up for themselves or the common whole that suffers daily as a result of these despicable guidelines meant to benefit one social class and one social class only. Resistance burns within me, within my heart and mind. It's at the foreground of my thoughts, coloring my perception of society and those on its outskirts. Sometimes I feel unaccompanied in my views of resistance, in my views of obeying what we’re told and the lies that sugarcoat that perverted obedience. But your artwork and its description made me feel hopeful. Don’t ever stop. Resist. At any cost.
